TrestleTree Protocol
The TrestleTree Protocol will define the risk, intervene with the risk and measure the program's effectiveness on an annual basis. Our protocol is inclusive of the following chain of events:- Identify the risk that is driving costs through advanced data analysis - Accomplished through the analysis of archival health care utilization data, worker's compensation data, pharmacy data and disability data.
- Sample real-time risk information - Accomplished through the implementation of a health risk appraisal to the employee population and biometric screening, (i.e., Height/Weight, Blood Pressure, Coronary Risk blood chemistry + Glucose)
- Establish base-line information regarding worksite injury - Accomplished by auditing worker's compensation data and OSHA injury logs.
- Risk stratify population for interventional needs - Accomplished by analyzing all data sets and assigning a health coach prepared to address each unique individual's risk.
- Begin TrestleTree intervention - Accomplished through telephonic health coaching that is sensitive to each individuals stages and readiness to change, tailored communication, that creates sustainable change within each individual.
- Report Outcomes - Accomplished through pre/post statistical analysis. Outcomes will report on financial savings, behavioral change and reductions in worksite injury.

- 63% of Program Participants lost an average of 17.1 Pounds
-
Average weight loss of 5.5 Pounds for ALL participants in TrestleTree health coaching with a BMI = 30 and tobacco usage
- 52% of Program Participants lost an average of 17.5 Pounds
Tobacco Cessation Program
- 6-Month Intent to Treat1 Sustained Quit Rate: 50%
- 12-Month Intent to Treat1 Sustained Quit Rate: 34%
1Intent to Treat Quit Rate: Calculated by dividing the number of current or former TrestleTree participants who verify that they are tobacco free by the total number of all participants who have met the designated anniversary from their initial quit date. This is a more clinically rigorous method of calculating sustained quit rates whereby participants are included in the numerator of the calculation only if there is direct verification that are tobacco free. (Example, if 100 people quit using tobacco 6-months ago and 30 of the 50 participants responding to the survey are tobacco free, the intent to treat quit rate would be 30%)
Disease Management Program Outcomes
- Average Blood Glucose, Total Cholesterol, and Blood Pressure ALL moved into Evidence Based Medicine Best Practice target ranges
